The NYPD has released the name and photograph of a person wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old East Elmhurst man in 2017.

Police said detectives would like to question Johnathan Baez, 30, in connection with the shooting death of Karron, Alston, 25.

Police have apprehended a suspect in a triple homicide that occurred in South Jamaica on June 24.

Last Thursday, the NYPD Regional Fugitive Task Force, in coordination with local law enforcement, arrested 29-year-old Travis Blake in Maine. Police had identified him as a person of interest just a day earlier.

Police are still looking for the perpetrator of an apparent triple homicide discovered in a South Jamaica home on Friday. 

Three bodies were found in a 155th Street residence and have since been identified as 22-year-old Varshanna Malcolm, 55-year-old Karlene Barnett and 36-year-old Dervon Brightly, the NYPD confirmed on Monday. Police took a person of interest into custody for questioning on Friday, but no arrests have been made.
