Manor Oktoberfest celebrates 10 year anniversary 1

Today, December 8th, will mark the ten year anniversary of Manor Oktoberfest restaurant located at 80-28 Cooper Avenue in The Shops At Atlas Park in Glendale. The anniversary is somewhat of a milestone for the mall as well as the restaurant because Manor has stood the test of time by being one of the few original tenants at Atlas Park's a loud testament to Manor's delicious food and its popularity.

The Atlas location was the second of three very popular and successful food-based businesses Mark Gallagher owns in Queens. Gallagher focuses mainly on delicious German-American cuisine and specialties including a wide selection of German craft beers and hot, overstuffed pastrami sandwiches with authentic German horseradish mustard and German potato salad that have been called the best in all of Queens! In addition, the restaurant is a very popular location for funeral luncheons and dinners due to its short proximity to local cemeteries. It is open seven days a week. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. (kitchen closes at 11 p.m.).

Manor's two other locations are not far away. Manor Deli, the first of the three and a neighborhood staple for over 75 years, is located at 94-12 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. They specialize in a wide array of domestic and imported cold cuts, hot and cold homemade takeout lunches and dinners and catering for all occasions. New specials are available every day. Hours of operation are Monday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The deli is closed on Sundays. The phone number is 718-849-2836 and website is manordeli.com.

Lastly, Manor Oktoberfest located at 73-11 Yellowstone Blvd. in Forest Hills is the largest and most formal of the three establishments and features a beautiful party room for meetings, parties and any special occasion. Its bar is a local favorite every evening with its large selection of fine wines, liquors, beers and an amiable ambience that is second to none. Lovers of authentic German cuisine will surely mark this restaurant at the top of their favorites list both for its outstanding food and its elegant yet casually friendly atmosphere. Customers can immerse themselves in the Bavarian atmosphere while sampling the expanded menu. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from noon to 11 p.m. (kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m.) and Friday and Saturday from noon to 2 a.m. (kitchen closes at 11 p.m.). The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
