Hundreds came out for a walk to spread awareness about autism and developmental disabilities on Sunday in Richmond Hill. The event was hosted by Community Board 9 and state Sen. Joe Addabbo Jr. and supported by dozens of community groups and leaders. Board Chair Sherry Algredo, whose son has autism, plans to hold the event annually.
