Shared office space company WeWork is coming to Long Island City.

The startup is slated to have a location called WeWork Queens Plaza at 27-01 Queens Plaza North open in February of next year, according to the company.

“Whenever WeWork opens a new location, we look for areas with thriving entrepreneurial communities home to a wide variety of creators,” WeWork’s General Manager for Tri-State Rui Barros said in a prepared statement. “That’s exactly what we found here in Long Island City.”

Planned for more than 600 patrons, the space is set to be on the twelfth and thirteenth floors of Queens Plaza. There will be private offices that can each accommodate one to 16 people. According to WeWork, conference rooms and space for professional and social events will be provided, as will nooks, pantries, parking and other amenities.

The location set to open in February will not be the company’s first in Queens: It already has a 60,000 square-foot shared office space facility in Astoria.
