Fine and nutritious dining was all the rage last Friday with a nearly block-long green market on Corona Plaza near the No. 7 subway station at Roosevelt Avenue and 103rd Street.

Crowds were able to shop for fresh fruit, greens and vegetables for just about any palate and any kind of cultural cuisine.

All the produce on sale was grown on farms in New York State, and was sold as part of a program established to connect upstate farmers with city residents who live in neighborhoods that might not always have access to a wide variety of fresh produce.
