Police are looking for a woman who punched a victim in the face in Forest Hills two months ago.

On the morning of April 15 at the Forest Hills/71 Avenue subway station, a 53-year-old female was attempting to board a southbound E train when she accidentally came in contact with the unknown woman who was exiting the train.

The suspect then re-entered the train car and punched the victim in the face, causing pain and bruising to the left eye.

The attacker exited the train and fled the station in an unknown direction.

The victim remained on the train and later called 911. EMS responded and transported the victim to a hospital in Manhattan, where she was treated and released for her injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned female, approximately 30 years of age, last seen wearing a white baseball cap, pink shirt and dark pants, pushing a stroller and carrying an infant.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477), or, for Spanish, 1 (888) 57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
