Andrea Zamperoni, an Elmhurst native and chef at a Cipriani restaurant in Manhattan, was found dead at an area hostel after missing for several days.

Angelina Barini, 41, allegedly a prostitute, was arrested and faces a charge of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute one or more substances containing fentanyl, according to reports. She is also accused of supplying fatal doses of drugs to two other men, referenced to by police only as John Does, in July.

Zamperoni, 33, was found dead and wrapped in a blanket inside the Kamway Lodge on Wednesday, though it took until Thursday to identify his body, according to the Daily News.

The lodge is located at 40-36 77 St., about three blocks from where Zamerponi lived. He was last seen at his residence on Monday at noon.

Police responded to the scene and encountered the stench of decay masked with incense, the New York Post reported.

Barini told the cops “she did not do it, her pimp made her do it and it was not her” but  she later admitted to providing Zamperoni drugs, the paper said.

EMS responded and pronounced him dead on the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.

Zamperoni reportedly knew Barini.

Cops have been called to the hostel 25 times this year to investigate various issues, according to the Daily News.
