Remembering the fallen 1

Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the 109th Precinct Community Council and its commander came together to honor the memory of slain NYPD Detectives Wenjian Liu, Rafael Ramos and Brian Moore on May 20.

The event was held at the North Queens Church Memorial Park in Flushing. The site also remembers police and fire officers and first responders who died on 9/11.

Moore, of the 105th Precinct in Queens Village, was gunned down earlier this month. Liu and Ramos were killed while sitting in their patrol car in Brooklyn last December.

Also attending were Liu’s family and Councilman Paul Vallone.
