Three people from Flushing — the pilot and his only two passengers — received only minor injuries after the small plane they were in crashed in the front yard of a Valley Stream, LI, home on Sunday night, reports said.

The Cessna Skyhawk aircraft tore into power lines when it went down, hitting the ground around two miles from JFK Airport at 10:19 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The agency said it will investigate the crash.

The plane ran out of gas after fog created issues for pilot Dongl Kim, 27, according to Newsday. The publication said Jung Woo, 26, and Hung Joo-Na, 29, were also on the plane and that the three Flushing residents had been able to get themselves out of it after the crash.

The trio were on their way back from Niagara Falls when the plane hit the ground on Clarendon Drive after failing to reach Republic Airport, its first destination, and then JFK, where it was rerouted to because of the navigation issues, reports said.
