A 35-year-old Corona woman was stabbed to death Wednesday evening at a spa in Jackson Heights, and police have charged her husband with the killing, which reports say happened in front of multiple witnesses.

Carmen Iris Santiago suffered multiple wounds to the torso, said police, who responded to the scene of the killing at 93-05 37 Ave. at about 7 p.m. Her husband, William Rivas, 39, was taken into custody at the scene without incident, they said. Both were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where Santiago was pronounced dead. Rivas had a cut on one arm.

Police charged Rivas late Thursday morning with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The couple had lived on 57th Avenue in LeFrak City.
