Grand time, grand slam champ 1

Pro tennis player Bob Bryan, a 23-time grand slam champion in doubles and mixed doubles play, spent some time last week with kids from the Child Center of NY at Latimer Gardens in Flushing.

Bryan has won 16 grand slams and two Olympic medals in men’s doubles with his twin brother, Mike, and seven grand slam titles in mixed doubles.

The Child Center of NY, with its main office on Forest Hills, was founded in 1953, and provides education, health and social services to families in 17 neighborhoods throughout Queens.
