Twon Grannum, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, came to this country three years ago and has brought a tremendous passion for soccer. This past season, the Forest Hills High School soccer team was ranked second in the PSAL and went undefeated in the regular season. Twon scored 15 goals and 12 assists, earning him team MVP honors. With all his hard work, dedication and determination in academics and athletics, Twon was awarded a full scholarship to play for the Division I soccer team at Stony Brook University. “Twon is truly an amazing young local talent that will make waves in the soccer world,” said Head Coach Daniel Hovsepian. “His achievements should be positive examples for young children in our community who have strong interests in sports.”
