Participants will meet at 69th Road and Meadow Lake Drive, with the walk going from 10 to 11 a.m., and there is no charge. Info: (212) 691-7483, nycaudubon.org.

When comedic storyteller, best-selling author and entrepreneur Kambri Crews says something is “always fun,” you can bet it is. And that’s how she described QED’s Intro to Embroidery class, which sees participants learning some basic stitches from Art Strong NYC and making their own pieces of wall art to hang up. All supplies are included. You’ll be in stitches, and learning how to make them, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Kambri’s QED club and cafe — “after school for grownups” — sits at 27-16 23 Ave. in Astoria, and class costs $35. Info: (347) 451-3873, qedastoria.com.
