The sun’ll come out tomorrow, the forecasters say, so you might get out and enjoy the last weekend before Labor Day Weekend. If you need ideas, here are just five places to go and people to see.

You can see “Romeo and Juliet,” Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy about two young, star-crossed lovers whose families despise one another, performed by the Rude Grooms theater troupe. The Louis Armstrong House Museum Jazzmobile Block Party, with the Jumaane Smith Quartet and Jay Rodriguez and his Latin Swing Band performing, will be held, with tours of the museum available. The Alley Eco-Club — a Citizen Science Club for Adults, a new group with participants making and recording their observations about the natural world and discussing them at meetings, will meet on Sun., Aug. 25 (and each 2nd and 4th Sun. of the month), at 10 a.m.,at the  Alley Pond Environmental Center, 228-06 Northern Blvd., Douglaston. You can get an earful at a Free Corn Roast, with cobs cooked over a coal fire, an event held to celebrate one of summer’s best foods and thank the community for its support of the Cunningham Park Farmers Market. “No Brainer or the Solution to Parasites,” “a rip-roaring musical” about a city social service provider seeking to save the world from a somewhat drunk real estate magnate and reality TV star as the nation goes mad, by Theater for the New City.
