The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four people seen in surveillance photos from a robbery and slashing in Jamaica on the evening of Oct. 8.

According to police at the 103rd Precinct, the incident took place at approximately 5:50 p.m. at the corner of 108th Avenue and 157th Street.

Police said two victims, ages 16 and 17, were approached by a group of males who demanded their property. A sharp instrument was produced and both victims were slashed. A cell phone and air pods were stolen before the robbers fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1 (888) 57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
