The last time I was cited for a traffic violation was in 1992 at the Union Turnpike exit ramp of the GCP. The speed limit was 50 mph on the parkway but the exit ramp transitioned into a service road where the limit was 30 mph. At the end of the ramp was an officer with a hand held radar. He would point, shoot, & motion you over to the curb where you waited your turn as another officer wrote citations. No one bothered giving it a title like Vision Zero. It was just a classic speed trap. I paid the fine & changed my homebound route. Here in Arizona, our sheriff contracted for automated enforcement. Vans were positioned at strategic locations. Violators were photographed & fined $200. The next election cycle a new sheriff was elected because he promised to stop the automated speed trap. In 3 years you too can vote for regime change.2 weeks ago
You people never stop talking about that 1984 keynote speech. Why? Cuomo spoke leftist class envy clichés & Reagan was re-elected in a 49 state landslide which included NY. The national economy thrived while New York's declined (especially upstate). Reagan was one of the greatest presidents; Cuomo is known as "Hamlet On The Hudson".3 weeks ago
Dear Zion Halili:
You imply that it was a Christian who is responsible for the vandalism. This excludes the possibility that atheists or Islamists could also be responsible. True Christians know Jesus & his origins. Your comments are insulting, especially on Christmas eve.1 month ago
This reflects a very sad situation: NY election = Stalin vs. Trotsky. Will the last person to leave NY please turn off the lights.5 months ago
This implies that Keil Brothers is ceasing or has ceased operations. If true this is a shame. I've known members of the Keil family & I've shopped there. Keil Brothers was always a class act & it will be missed. Apparently Home Depot rules.5 months ago
It would be more accurate to state that color television was promoted at the 1964 World's Fair because RCA had introduced color broadcasting (on NBC) & receivers about 10 years before. With advances in solid state component technology, prices decreased until it became affordable for the average household. By 1966 all three networks were broadcasting in color.8 months ago
Very good Fox News Channel style (fair & balanced) reporting. However, I'm surprised that you didn't mention Mayor Lindsey's dismal 1969 performance. It cost him the GOP primary & if hadn't been a 3 way race it would cost him the election. Al Roker's Tweet ("Prediction: 1 term") should be taken seriously. By the way, here in Phoenix, it's 75 degrees....11 months ago

You ain't seen nuthin' yet. Kerry has promised that if Israel and the Palestinian Authority don't reach an agreement by next spring he will unilaterally impose one. Please refer to The Book of Daniel and The Book of Revelations. Confess & repent because Judgement Day is closer than you think.Nov 28, 2013
The last paragraph says it all. I hate to repeat myself, but elections have consequences. You people gave the rdical left an overwhelming majority & now you have one party government. I lived in Bayside from 1991-2000; I loved it. I belonged to the same church as the Keil family. They were great people. I was a Keil Brothers customer; it was a pleasure shopping there. I departed NYC 8 years ago & I've never regretted it. "Preserve your memories. they're all that's left to you now". Go south, go west, go before it's too late. Otherwise, I hope you're enjoying all the "hopey, changey" stuff. The Era Of BO continues.Nov 22, 2013
