Dear Editor:
This is in response to the April 26 letter “Let priests marry” from Mr. John Amato.
Mr. Amato recommends that Catholic priests should be allow to get married. I guess that Mr. Amato doesn’t know anything about the Catholic religion, so he should not make comments on that issue, or he should learn about our faith.
He shouldn’t tell the Catholic Church to “get its act together” and make some changes. What makes him such an authority to make this type of statement? I think you should apologize publicly to Catholic people.
