Dear Editor:
It was recently reported that the General Services Administration spent $823,000 for a conference. I am not writing to criticize President Obama about this since wasteful spending has occurred under both Democratic and Republican administrations.
However, this incident points out that the federal government will never be more efficient than the private sector in overseeing any sector of the economy (especially healthcare).
