Queenswide: Bank robber hits fourth branch

The NYPD’s Major Case Squad is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for four bank robberies or attempted robberies between Feb. 3 and March 1.

The latest took place a Capital One branch 146-21 Jamaica Ave. in Jamaica on March 1. The first three occurred at Chase branches on Queens Boulevard.

The first took place at 10:15 a.m. on Feb 3 at 95-38 Queens Blvd. in Rego Park, where the man passed a note and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. In attempts on Feb. 14 at 47-11 Queens Blvd. in Long Island City and again on Feb. 23 at 104-17 Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, the man fled without cash when tellers did not comply with hes demand.

The man is described as as black, approximately 30 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds, with a dark complexion and a long face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800)-577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
