Zombies flood Astoria for annual Queens Thanksgiving Zombie Walk

At noon on Saturday people descended on Studio Square, an Astoria bar, to begin the metamorphosis from human to zombie. It was all a part of the incredibly free Queens Thanksgiving Zombie Walk 2012. The face paint was free, as well as the expert painters who helped about a hundred people transform into their undead personas with blood-oozing fake gashes. (However, the beer wasn’t free, because apparently even zombies get thirsty.)
