A friendly reminder to drivers on Tuesday from the state Department of Transportation. The location is the northern end of Woodhaven Boulevard, where it crosses under the Long Island Expressway before terminating at Queens Boulevard and the Queens Center mall, in Elmhurst.

    Wow I Could not believe the damage!! I lived in NY for over 30 years and then left. There were strong hurricanes back in the 50's and 60.s but I don't recall it being this bad, My brother lives on a large boat off of Cross Bay Blvd. I guess by Howard Beach.
    I understand his car floated away but his houseboat is ok, except possibly with no electricity. Hope all is well.
