2012 Five Boro Bike Tour

The Five Boro Bike Tour — the largest recreational cycling event in the United States — was held on Sunday, May 6. More than 40,000 riders participated in the 40-mile ride around New York City. The route, closed to cars, took riders through all five boroughs, across five major bridges, and finally across New York Harbor on the Staten Island Ferry.
