Competition was keen Saturday and Sunday during the 23rd annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival on Meadow Lake in Flushing Meadows Park. The two-day event once again drew loud crowds to cheer on the teams, snack and learn an Asian craft. The weather was perfect as 180 teams participated from the United States and Canada.
