The Bayside Business Improvement District welcomed Santa Claus and the holiday lights to Bell Boulevard on Monday night. The annual tree lighting, which was held near the Bayside Long Island Rail Road station, drew elected and police officials as well as a few area youngsters to the event. A large menorah was already lit since the holiday began last week. — Liz Rhoades
