Pedestrians and drivers come uncomfortably close at Junction Boulevard and 62nd Drive in Rego Park, though both are moving ‘with the light.’ The city’s Department of Transportation will introduce lane and parking changes to calm traffic and speeding in the area of the Rego Center mall this summer.
