Assemblymen call for new rail service 1

Assemblymen Mike Miller and Phillip Goldfeder.have outlined a plan that would rebuild more than four miles of long-abandoned railroad tracks in an effort to link a proposed convention center and all of southern Queens, including the Rockaways, with Northern Queens, Manhattan, three branches of the Long Island Rail Road and John F. Kennedy International Airport, while providing thousands of jobs.
