Sunnyside food fest under No. 7 next week

Dozens of eateries to offer samples

The 2014 Taste of Sunnyside is just around the corner and Sunnyside Shines is promising delicious food and great company throughout the event.

Foodies and Queens-lovers alike can dine under the No. 7 train on Queens Boulevard where well-known favorites and new eateries on the block will serve samples of their food and drink.

The Taste of Sunnyside is set for May 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will run under the elevated line between 45th and 46th streets.

Food to be served at the festival include American-Korean fusion from Salt & Fat, seafood and oysters from Murphy’s Seafood & Grill, pub delicacies from The Copper Kettle, sushi from Takesushi and Italian food from Venturo Osteria & Wine Bar.

Tickets are $30 for general admission and $60 for VIPs. General admission can enter between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. while VIPs can file in at 5:30 p.m. to beat the lines.
