Woodside resident and Nassau County Assistant District Attorney Gene Kang, center right, was honored for his dedication to the prosecution of DWI cases at Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s seventh annual New York Metro Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon on March 27.

Kang has prosecuted more than 400 DWI cases as part of Nassau County DA Kathleen Rice’s, left, efforts to keep streets safe from drunk drivers.

Kang and Rice were two of four award recipients, including Assistant District Attorney Katie Zizza, center left, and Mauren McCormick, right, chief of DA Rice’s Vehicle Crimes Bureau.

Welcome to the discussion.
