Two suspects in three armed robberies are still being sought in Long Island City by officers from the 114th Precinct.
One of the male suspects is thought to be black and 6 feet tall and the other Hispanic and 5 feet 8 inches tall.
According to police reports, on Friday March 30 at 6 p.m. a male, 43, was attacked by suspects in front of 40-44 24 St. with a bat. The suspects took his cell phone. The victim sustained minor injuries.
On Sunday, April 8 at 7 p.m. a man, 54, allegedly was approached by suspects with a knife at the intersection of 38th Street and 24th Avenue. The suspects stole an unspecified amount of cash and fled.
The last burglary in the string of three occurred on Monday April 9 at 8:52 p.m. The suspects approached a male, 31, on the corner of 40th Avenue and 22nd Street. They assaulted him and then fled with an undetermined amount of property, according to police reports.
