Police arrest Astoria theif

UPDATE: Police arrested the man who allegedly stole from three homes earlier this month. Bryan McCants, 30, of Corona was charged with three counts of burglary.

Police in Astoria are looking for the suspect in multiple residential burglaries.

The thin black man allegedly entered through back doors and a basement door and removed property.

The burglaries occurred on June 6, 8 and 10 on Crescent Street, 26th Street and 10th Street, respectively.

The suspect allegedly entered the homes between 2:40 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or to submit tips about them by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
