How would you spend a million dollars?

For the first time, Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer (D-Sunnyside) will host two participatory budgeting information sessions.

The meetings are intended to get public input for where Van Bramer will allocate funs to projects like park improvements, school repairs, transportation and more.

The first session will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Community Services, located at 43-31 39 St. in Sunnyside.

Those using public transportation can take the No. 7 train to the 40th Street-Lowery station.

The second session is on Wednesday, July 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jacob Riis Neighborhood Settlement House, located at 10-25 41 Ave. in Long Island City.

Take the F train to the 21st Street-Queensbridge station.

Van Bramer’s office asks those interested in attending to RSVP as soon as possible to anasner@council.nyc.gov or call (718) 383-9566 ext. 1.
