Two 12-year-old girls were groped in Elmhurst by the same man last month, according to police.
On Nov. 7, a man driving a white sedan on 54th Avenue pulled up next to a 12-year-old girl and got out of the car, at around 8 a.m. He asked the girl if she knew an address and showed her a piece of paper with writing on it. The girl got into the man's car, where he touched her "intimate parts" above her clothing, police said. The girl got out of the car and the man fled the scene.
On Nov. 25, a different 12-year-old girl was stopped by a man driving a white car on 55th Avenue at around 4 p.m., police said. The man asked for directions and showed the girl a piece of paper with numbers on it. He then groped her above her clothing.
The man is described as being about 6 feet tall and 40 years old. The police have provided a sketch of the suspect. His car is described as a white sedan with a sticker on the driver's door depicting a green, white and orange or red flag with an eagle in the center.
