A man attempted to pull two teenage girls into his black Cadillac Escalade in separate incidents on Jan. 25, according to police.
At about 7 a.m. a Hispanic man in his early-to-mid 30s pulled up alongside a girl, 13, at Northern Boulevard and 102nd Street. He called out to her and attempted to engage her in conversation.
When she realized she didn’t know the man, she walked away. At that point the suspect exited his SUV and approached her from behind and grabbed her arm, officials say. The victim pulled her arm away and ran from the man.
That same day at 8 p.m. the suspect attempted to lure a second girl into his Escalade. According to police, the man approached the girl at Northern Boulevard and Parsons Boulevard. He motioned for her to the vehicle. When she refused he followed her. The victim then fled the scene.
The suspect is light-skinned and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, dark pants and a blue-collared shirt.
