Louis Armstrong may be long gone, but his influence remains and that will be on show at his Corona home this Saturday with the second installment in the Louis Armstrong House Museum’s Hot Jazz/Cool Garden Summer Concert Series.

Bria Skonberg brings her quartet featuring Sean Cronin, bass; Dalton Ridenhour, piano and Darrian Douglas, drums to Satchmo’s home at 34-56 107 St. on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $18 in advance and include a meal — Armstrong’s favorite, red beans and rice and sweet tea — and a complimentary museum pass, which is good for six months.

Tickets can be purchased online at LouisArmstrongHouse.org.

Parking is available on neighborhood streets and concertgoers can also access the site via subway by taking the 7 train to 103rd Street-Corona Plaza.

Emily Asher’s Garden Party played at the museum’s first concert in the series on July 4. The final concert in this series will be held on Aug. 16 featuring Gordon Au & the Grand Street Stompers.

Welcome to the discussion.
