A new $1 million, 13-bed chest pain unit at Elmhurst Hospital opened on Monday.
Elmhurst Hospital Center serves one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the United States and has one of the busiest emergency rooms in New York City, according to Councilman Danny Dromm, center, (D-Jackson Heights).
There to celebrate the opening were EHC Executive Director Chris Constantino, left, Queens Health Network Regional Medical Director Jasmin Moshirpur, Health and Hospitals Corp.. Executive Vice President Antonio Martin, EHC Cardiology Director for Inpatient Services Deborah Reynolds, EHC Emergency Medicine Director Stuart Kessler and Queens Health Network Senior Vice President Ann Sullivan.
