After a wintry weekend, Queens residents celebrated Halloween on Monday by parading down 37th Avenue from 87th to 77th streets in Jackson Heights.

Joining the many pint-sized Halloweenies taking part in the annual parade, organized by the Jackson Heights Beautification Group, were costumed grownups and friends. Councilman Danny Dromm (D-Jackson Heights) and Mayor Bloomberg were also on hand, though both chose to dress as themselves.

The event kicked off at 5 p.m., and participants were awarded with goodie bags distributed from PS 69 at the parade’s end.
