Councilman Danny Dromm (D-Jackson Heights) delivered toiletries collected during a February drive to the Metropolitan Community Church of New York, based in Manhattan, last week.

The goods, collected from Feb. 2 to 17 at Dromm’s office, are intended to help homeless LGBT youth at Sylvia’s Place, a shelter run by MCCNY which serves over 1,000 such young people every year, according to Dromm’s office.

Some half-dozen large boxes containing toothbrushes, shampoo and other toiletries were collected as part of the drive.
