The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating two suspects in an Aug. 1 burglary in Astoria.

Police in the 114th Precinct said the incident took place at about 1 p.m. when the suspects went to the victim’s home and said they needed to check the electric system.

Once inside, one suspect examined outlets in one room while the other took cash and jewelry before both men fled in a silver Volkswagen.

Both suspects are described as white males. One is about 25 years old, while the other is in his 40s.

Anyone with information on the incident or the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
