Three students from the Queens High School for Arts and Business in Corona received scholarships from Manhattan law firm O’Melveny & Myers LLP.

Sarita Santiago, Hamid Usman and Manhar Khanna were among 15 students citywide, three from each borough, honored this year by the firm, which has awarded $1.2 million to New York City public high school students since 2003.

Kanna was awarded a $14,000 scholarship while Usman and Santiago each received $2,000 toward their college education that will be paid out over the four years.

Celebrating the awards at the scholarship ceremony at Tweed Courthouse in Manhattan on June 25 were Francine Norma, left, college advisor at Queens High School; Santiago, Usman, Khanna and Ana Zambrano-Burakov, principal of Queens High School for Arts and Business.
