Arrests have been made in connection with the violent robbery of a 27-year-old pizza delivery man in Jackson Heights, the NYPD reported Tuesday.

Jorge Paret, 28 of 91-06 31 St., and Anardo Batista, 22 of 30-04 92 St., were charged with attempted murder, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.

The pair were arrested after police from the 115th Precinct, responding to a 911 call just after midnight on Nov. 5, discovered a man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of 34-52 75 St.

The delivery man had been robbed and assaulted and suffered serious head trauma.

Emergency Medical Services arrived and took the injured man to Elmhurst General Hospital where he was listed in serious condition.

According to the police, Batista and Paret were apprehended shortly after the incident occurred in a police canvass of the area.

No further suspects are being sought, but the investigation is ongoing, according to the NYPD.
