Nearly 2,000 kids took part in the New York Road Runners’ second Youth Jamboree of the 2013-14 school year on April 26 at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, including many from Queens.

Open to all students from kindergarten through high school, youngsters can take part in the free event and register for two running, jumping, or throwing events.

The jamborees have been taking place since 2004.
