Assemblyman Mike Miller, center, honored two Woodhaven civic leaders last weekend for their service to the community.

At the Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association meeting Saturday at the Emanuel Church of Christ, Miller presented Assembly proclamations to Ed Wendell, president of the Woodhaven Historical Society, who also served as president of the WRBA from 2010 through 2013, and Maria Thomson, executive director of the Woodhaven Business Improvement District and Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation, who also once served as president of the WRBA.

Both were honored for their years of dedicated service to the community.

Welcome to the discussion.
