I am very confused about this so-called poll...28 points ahead?

I know of both candidates. Simon has earned his dues. Yet, for some reason the same people that call him when they're in trouble and he ends up bailing their ass out are the same that dont vote him in.

Ulrich should wait till he shows he has paid his dues. I also am not thrilled with his lack of standing on transportation alternatives. I agree that ferry service should be made permanent. However, he has shown obviously he knows nothing about the railway line. The railway is a long-term project and should be pursued without delay nor prejudice.

If I were polled or voted today ? I would probably vote for Simon. It is time to let a lifetime volunteer advocate do it professionally.

What is the worse that can happen? In a couple of years you vote him out and put either Ulrich back in or someone totally and completely new !!!
