The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the man wanted for murder in the May 18 shooting of 14-year-old D’aja Robinson on a city bus.

Kevin McClinton, 21, is described as a black male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

There is a $22,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Robinson’s killer being offered by Crime Stoppers, the NYPD and the City of New York.

Police in the113th Precinct said McClinton should be considered armed and dangerous.

His last known address is 147-27 Hook Creek Blvd. in Rosedale.

D’aja Robinson had just left a sweet 16 party and had boarded a Q6 bus with a friend at Rockaway and Sutphin boulevards in South Jamaica at about 8:30 p.m. when someone sprayed the bus with nine bullets from the sidewalk.

Speaking in the community following the shooting, NYPD Chief of Department Philip Banks III said people can give information anonymously.

“Right now, getting the information is more important  to us than the name of the person giving it,” he said at a meeting of the 113th Precinct Community Council.

Police personnel in the 113th Precinct have been canvassing the entire area in their search.

Officers from the neighboring 105th Precinct in Queens Village were handing out wanted posters with McClinton’s photo on them beginning May 30.

Anyone with information on McClinton’s whereabouts is asked to call Det. Daniel Gallagher at (718) 712-279, or Detective Borough Queens South at (718) 520-9200.

Anyone with information also may call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.
