A popular Ozone Park bowling alley was held up late Sunday night by an armed robber.

Police received a 911 call reporting a robbery at the Cozy Bowl, located at 98-18 Rockaway Blvd, just after midnight on Monday morning.

According to the NYPD, the masked robber walked into the bowling alley shortly after it closed for the night, demanded that everyone inside get down and then proceeded to tie them up.

Police reported that the suspect got away with at least “a couple thousand dollars” taken from a safe located in the bowling alley.

NYPD helicopters were seen flying overhead for up to a half hour afterward, looking for the armed robber on the streets near the scene.

Police say the victims were not able to give a good description of the robber because he was wearing a mask and gloves.

The crime and the identification of the suspect are still under investigation. No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
