So sad. Not only the people have suffered so much but the environmental impact is devastating too. This was a beautiful wildlife refuge area, now polluted with household heating oil, raw sewage and broken home debris. The West Pond Trail is washed out and is now has a channel carved through it large enough for boats. We have helped many years with the annual beach cleanup in this area of the wildlife refuge. Can the wildlife be helped?
