Dorothy Falzetta began decorating her home at 133-32 122 St. in South Ozone Park the same day Bill de Blasio was elected mayor.

That’s how she’s done it for years and by Thanksgiving, the Falzettas’ house and yard are always illuminated with festive decorations.

Last week she flipped the switch on her 2013 display, which now features several inflatable items, including a large Snoopy, a Santa in a hula skirt and a helicopter carrying Jolly Old St. Nick. Lighted trees, festive music and several Nativity scenes round out the display.

Falzetta said revelers often stop to take photos in front of her display, which she changes around every year.

Welcome to the discussion.
