Milan Rysa, the Astoria bodybuilder who threw his dog out a third-floor window to its death, pleaded guilty to second-degree reckless endangerment on March 15 in Queens Criminal Court.

It was the most serious charge against him and in exchange the animal cruelty charge was dropped, according to Kevin Ryan, a spokesman for the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

Rysa, 30, tossed his 50-pound shar-pei, Brooklyn, out of his apartment window on Steinway Street at around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. The canine nearly struck two women before hitting the pavement.

Based on his plea, the illegal immigrant from the former Czechoslovakia faces 364 days in prison when he is sentenced on April 18 and will be barred from owning any animal for three years, Ryan said.

Welcome to the discussion.

I am so sick of Illegals coming to the USA and thinking they can bring their low-life behaviour with them and we will be so sensitive to them.

Kick the fukc out of the country. How dare this animal-bastrad think he can come to the states and act like a ball less wonder.

Astorians, please make his life miserable each and every day and hopefully the law will stop making excuses for these creeps.

People who abuse animals are dangerous to children and others. I believe that cruelty to animals should carry a more serious charge to protect our neighborhoods from these people the first time. Then they would be on the police radar and maybe we could even save a child. He's dangerous and should NEVER be allowed to own a pet again.

THERE IS THE PROBLEM WITH OUR SYSTEM.HE IS AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT HE HAS COMMETED A CRIME. SEND HIM BACK WHERE HE CAME FROM.AND THE FACT THAT HE ONLY WAS CHARGED WITH RECKLESS ENDANGERMENTWHEN HE TOOK A LIFE. I HAVE GIVEN UP ON THE SYSTEM . KEY WORD HE'S ILLEGAL WHAT HE DID WAS ILLEGAL.

Editor's note: He was also charged with animal cruelty, but that charge was dropped in exchange for the guilty plea to reckless endangerment, which carries a stronger penalty.

Barred from owning a dog for 3 years??? Wow big f'in deal, should be barred for life from owning any animal. Anyone that does this to an innocent animal will do it again but next time it could be worse, could be a kid. People like him do not deserve to be alive [censored]hole!
