The annual Tour de Queens bicycle tour will be held on Sunday, beginning at Flushing Meadows Park.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the plaza between the Unisphere and the Queens Museum and closes at 9 a.m. The tour departs at 9:30 a.m. and returns to the park around 12:30 p.m.
Hundreds of riders are expected to participate in the Transportation Alternatives-sponsored event. The group will move en masse, escorted by the NYPD.
There will be occasional stops on the tour to secure intersections and keep riders together.
The family-friendly event, which travels at a leisurely pace, will cover 20 miles. It will include neighborhoods in Flushing, East Flushing, Murray Hill, Auburndale, Bayside, Bay Terrace, Beechhurst and Whitestone. There will be a rest stop at Little Bay Park in Bayside.
The cost is $15 for TA members and $20 for others.
