The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two men wanted for a series of gas station robberies.

Police say two male Hispanics drive to the location in a dark minivan. One scouts the interior and returns to the vehicle. The second goes in, displays a black handgun or indicates there is a gun under his shirt and demands money and cigarettes.

They struck at 5:40 a.m. on March 16 at a Gulf station at 241-15 Hillside Ave. in Bellerose; at 4 a.m. on March 19 at an Exxon station at 137-21 Liberty Ave. in Jamaica; and again at 6:22 a.m. on March 20 at a Mobil station at 133-11 Roosevelt Ave. in Flushing.

One man is 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet with a large build and a moustache. The other is 5 feet, 7-9 inches tall with a medium build, facial hair and a black hooded jacket.

Anyone with information on the incidents are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public also can submit tips by logging onto nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.

Welcome to the discussion.
